Prudential Stock Brokers Ltd

The company was established in 2012 as Prudential Stock Brokers Ltd to provide equity brokerage services to the investing public.

Becoming Laurus Africa Securities Ltd

In April 2023 the name of the company changed to Laurus Africa Securities Ltd following a change in ownership of the firm.

Gaining our FX Broker License

In January 2024, Laurus Africa obtained Bank of Ghana’s approval to operate as FX broker on the Ghana Interbank FX Market.

Exploring other African Markets

Laurus Africa Securities continues to make consistent efforts to improve on service offerings to clients. We have partnered with SecondStaxx to deploy an internet trading platform known as the SSX Platform which allows our traders to book trades directly into multiple markets across Africa on behalf of our clients.
